About The Lab

Special thanks for the support of Kelseyville Unified School District, Principal Matt Cockerton and District Technology Specialist Bill Grossner, for supporting our lab and making technology courses at Kelseyville High School stand out among the best in Lake County.

Our lab features:
  • 32 computers running Windows 7 Professional (+1 photo/video studio station)

    • More being researched and installed on a regular basis
Other things that have been happening in the lab:
  • We have increased the size of the classroom book library. You may check out books as needed.
  • All walls have been painted.  I bought the paint myself (4 gallons plus primer) so please be careful and respectful of the paint job.
  • I purchased curtains to cover the ugly orange windows along one wall -- hopefully we can get some more in the near future [when I can afford it]. :)
  • Last year we increased the number of computers from 24 to 30 and later to 32.  This will allow us to have more students in class, but it will also make seating a little closer.
  • Students have been bringing in decorations (cardboard cutouts, posters, wall hangings, etc.) to help customize the classroom and make it more student-centered.
